Hahaha...Finally I got my new oven!!!

Had been without oven for damn bloody long...Went shopping so many times looking for a suitable one but in vain... Since I moved house, i lost my Conventional Oven (gigantic sized) Turbo brand. Wah :(

Just as I started to whip up the cupcake recipe...the Cornell oven that Leha gave, tripped electricity... In the end, in order to bake those choc chip cupcakes, I decide to get one and a cheap one.

Haha, this is my brand new 28L Cornell oven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recipe: Braised Duck Wings and Feet

Ingredients: ------------- 1 kg Duck Wings 1 kg Duck Feet Few Slices of Ginger Dark Soya Sauce Fish Sauce A little bit of sugar (for thickening the soup) 2 tablespoon of Shaoxing Wine Sesame Oil Claypot Method: ------------- Boil hot water and place in all the duck wings and feet to clean away the dirty blood. Heat up the claypot and fry the ginger slices with sesame oil till fragrant. Pour in all the duck wings and feet. Add in the dark soya sauce, fish sauce, sugar and boil it over high heat for about 30 minutes. Turn to low heat and continue braising for 3 hours till the meat becomes tender and soft. Add in the Shaoxing wine and continue on high heat for about 10 minutes more. The dish is ready to be served.

Ingredients: 1 pig's kidney 60g pork (sliced) 2 bunches mian xian 50g shredded ginger 2 tbsps Chee Seng Sesame Oil 1 ybsp hua diao wine 80ml yellow wine 700ml water some salt to taste Methods: 1. Rinse the pig's kidney, cut into halves and remove the white glands. Cut surface of pig's kidney in a criss-cross pattern. Soak in water with hua diao wine for 30 minutes. Remove and rinse.
