Recipe: Honey Sesame Shrimp

Honey Sesame Shrimp






Ingredients:
100 g All-purpose floor
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
1 Egg - lightly beaten
100 ml Water
500 g Shrimp-shelled and deveined
2 tablespoons Cornstarch
1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
2 tablespoons Honey
1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
Oil for deep frying

Methods:
1. Sift flour and salt and pepper into a bowl.
2. Make a well in the center, add egg and water, and gradually 
mix in the flour.
3. Beat to a smooth batter and set aside for 10 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, toss shrimp in cornstarch and coat well.
5. Shake off any excess cornstarch. 
6. Add shrimp to batter and coat well.
7. Heat oil in wok and add shrimp, a few at a time.
8. Cook until batter is golden. Remove shrimp, drain on paper 
towels, and keep warm.
9. Carefully remove hot oil from wok. Gently heat sesame oil in 
a pan.
10. Add honey and stir until mixed well and heat through. 
11. Add shrimp to mixture and toss well.
12. Sprinkle over sesame seeds and agin toss well. Serve 
immediately.
